Take Your Little People Traveling

Did you know today is #FeteNat? (Also called #BastilleDay) And for our family, it's a great day to make a regular Tuesday in quarantine a little more special. ⁣
While we won't be enjoying the parade on the Champs Elysees, nor traveling back to France anytime soon, tonight we will be crafting a huge charcuterie board (our preschooler's favorite) and watching a slideshow of photos from our French adventures. ⁣
Back in January, people looked at us like we were crazy when we said we would be taking our three and eleven-month olds on our fifteen-day European vacation. We honestly had the BEST time and, especially with how the rest of 2020 has looked, are SO glad we made the jump.⁣
I'm sure international travel isn't on anyone's present agenda, but I would encourage you to do something with your kids others may say "...you sure about that?". ⁣
Little people are so much more flexible and adaptable than most give them credit. I say "go for it!" Try that thing that you've had stored in your heart, and that you'd like to experience with your kids, but have been scared to pull the trigger. You know your kids better than anyone, and even if things don't go as planned, you'll make an incredible memory together. ⁣
And yes, if they're super young, they "may not remember" - they may even sleep in the ergo through a lot of it 🤗 - but you can bet those experiences will reinforce how much they are valued, cared for, and loved by their family.⁣
Bonne Fete Nationale!
